WEA LEARNING CENTER 

Tutoring and Academic Support 

Our Afterschool Learning Center serves students in grades 3–12 with small-group tutoring, one-on-one support, and academic enrichment activities. We offer a hybrid model with both online and face-to-face sessions, Monday to Thursday from 4:00 pm to 7:00pm. Flexible packages are available to fit your child’s needs and schedule.

  • Small Groups: Starting at $25 per session(max of 5 students) 

  • Individual: Sessions: Starting at $50 per session.

Tutoring and Academic Support 

Days/Times: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday- 5-7pm

Small Group Bands: Grades 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12

30-Minute Refresher Session — $20 per student
A short, focused small-group session targeting one reading or writing skill—ideal for homework help, test prep, or quick reinforcement with guided practice and immediate feedback.
(3–5 students per group)

INDIVIDUAL TUTORING SESSIONS

60-Minute Tutoring Session — $50

A full reading and writing lesson that teaches or reinforces important skills with guided and independent practice, followed by clear feedback to support deeper learning and mastery.

60-Minute College Readiness / ACT–SAT Session — $60
Skill-building in reading comprehension, grammar, writing, and test-taking strategies to support score improvement and confidence.

SMALL GROUP TUTORING SESSIONS 

60-Minute Small Group Session — $25 per student
Interactive, supportive group instruction with skill practice and peer collaboration(Up to 5 students)

60-Minute College Readiness / ACT–SAT Session — $30 per student(Up to 5 students) 

Targeted preparation in reading comprehension, grammar, writing, and proven test-taking strategies to build confidence and improve performance.

GRADE-BAND/ GROUP FOCUS

  • Grades 3–5 — Foundational Skills

       Fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, sentence writing, and          grammar basics.

  • Grades 6–8 — Middle School Mastery

        Deeper comprehension, essay structure, literary analysis,              academic vocabulary, and  organization.

  • Grades 9–12 — High School Success

        Analytical reading, argument writing, research, grammar              mastery, and academic readiness.

  • ACT/SAT/College Prep (Grades 10–12)

        Timed practice, grammar rules, reading strategies, and                proven test-taking techniques.

PROGRAM DETAILS

  • All sessions delivered live via Zoom. Limited in-person availabilty until Jan. 2026* 

  • Open to public, private, charter, and homeschool students

  • After-school and evening scheduling (Mon–Thurs, 5-7pm)

  • No contracts, memberships, or monthly fees—schedule as needed
