1. What can my child expect from Williams Education Academy?

Students participate in a structured 16 week program featuring an accredited online curriculum, personalized academic support, progress monitoring, accountability, and the WEA Success Path™ to help them build confidence and achieve their academic goals.

2. What programs does WEA offer?

WEA offers:

  • 16 Week Comprehensive Academic Support Plan (CASP) 

  • Academic Learning Pathways (ALP) 

  • Afterschool Tutoring

3. Who can benefit from WEA's programs?

WEA serves students in grades 3–12 who are homeschooled or attend public, private, or virtual schools. Our programs provide personalized academic support to help students strengthen skills, stay on track, and reach their goals.

4. What is the WEA Success Path™?

The WEA Success Path™ is our five-step framework that guides students through assessment, personalized planning, academic support, progress monitoring, and growth.

5. How does WEA personalize learning for each student?

Every student follows the WEA Success Path™, which helps us create a personalized academic support plan based on their strengths, learning needs, and goals. We use ongoing progress monitoring and teacher guidance to adjust support, provide targeted instruction, and help students continue making meaningful academic growth.

6. How are online academic support sessions scheduled?

Students log into the WEA Interactive Campus Monday through Thursday between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM to receive teacher-guided academic support(an appointment is not needed).  During this time, students may also participate in daily live classes through the WEA Live Learning Series™, an included feature of the Comprehensive Academic Support Plan (CASP).

7.What do the daily learning blocks look like?

WEA offers five structured online learning blocks each day, Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Learning blocks range from 60 to 90 minutes and include daily teacher-led live classes(CASP), core academics, teacher-guided academic support, and interactive learning opportunities. While the program provides flexibility, families are encouraged to take advantage of all learning blocks to maximize academic progress and student success.

8. How is student progress monitored?

Student progress is monitored throughout the program, and families receive regular progress updates to support ongoing growth and achievement. 

We do offer optional academic assessments, including NWEA MAP and other state-approved assessments, to help measure student growth and academic progress.

9. Do you accept Step Up for Students scholarships?

Yes. Eligible services may be available through Step Up for Students based on current scholarship guidelines.

10. Can homeschooling families use WEA programs?

Yes. WEA partners with homeschooling families by providing academic support, progress monitoring, accountability, curriculum guidance, and college and career readiness.

11. What is Teacher-Guided Academic Support?

During teacher-guided academic support, teachers clarify concepts, answer questions, provide individualized guidance, and help students stay organized and on track.

12.Does WEA serve students with specialized learning needs?

Yes. WEA welcomes students with diverse learning needs who can benefit from personalized academic support in a structured online learning environment. We work with families to determine whether our program is the right fit for each student.

Please note that WEA is an online learning and academic support program. We do not provide special education services, therapy, or one-on-one paraprofessional support.

13. What are the Interactive Learning Themes?

WEA's Interactive Learning Themes help students connect academic concepts to engaging, real-world experiences. These activities encourage critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of what they learn.

14. What does the Humanities & Language Arts Theme Include?

Humanities & Language Arts strengthens reading, writing, communication, and critical thinking through literature, history, and  geography.These experiences help students become confident readers, writers, and communicators.

15. What does the STEM Exploration Theme include? 

STEM Exploration develops problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration skills through hands-on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics experiences. Students learn to investigate, create, and apply academic concepts to real-world challenges.

16. How do I enroll?

Submit the online enrollment form, pay the Program Setup Fee.  We will then create your student's personalized academic support plan and schedule a family consultation session with WEA.
